DGCA tells Supreme Court that airlines have to refund tickets booked during lockdown

The Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) told Supreme Court that all tickets booked between March 25 to May 3 particularly the lockdown period will be fully refunded by airlines.
Earlier all domestic and international flights were canceled to stop the spread of COVID19. Officials also said that if carriers are not able to refund the ticket price then flyers will get credits till March 31, 2021.
PIL regarding the full refund has been filled in top court during the initial phase of the lockdown. The official also said that "Passengers can also transfer their credits to anyone in any airline.
